THE TRUE KING BOOK SERIES
Purpose & Approach
Why the series exists, how the books are researched, and the standard we want every volume to reflect.
The Mission
The True King Book Series is being created to help children and families understand Scripture as one connected story centered on Jesus Christ. We want children to receive truth and understanding as early as possible, families to read and ask questions together, and churches to have resources that point young hearts back to the Word of God.
Our prayer is for revival in this nation that reaches children and families—and for that revival to be rooted in the Word of God.
Our goal is to give these books to children and families. Contributions help us produce and distribute books, build inventory, and keep reaching more homes with the gospel.
Created with Purpose
Each book is developed with careful attention to Scripture, biblical context, history, archaeology, geography, culture, and the world in which the biblical events took place. When Scripture does not provide every visual detail, artistic interpretation is informed by historical and archaeological references; these interpretations are not claims of certainty.
Biblically Grounded
Built around the text, message, and theological arc of Scripture.
Historically Informed
Shaped by the people, places, cultures, and periods of the biblical world.
Archaeologically Considered
Visual details draw on material evidence where it is available and appropriate.
Artistically Interpreted
Creative freedom is used carefully where the biblical text leaves visual details open.
Scripture Comes First
The True King Book Series is not Scripture and does not claim to add revelation to Scripture. Artistic decisions, historical reconstruction, and visual storytelling are tools used to help children understand the setting and flow of the biblical story.
Scripture alone is the Word of God. The books exist to help children understand it, remember it, and desire to know it for themselves.
The Larger Vision
Across 12 volumes and 144 books, the series is designed to move from creation and God’s promises through the coming of Christ, His life, death and resurrection, the sharing of the gospel, life in Christ, and the restoration of all things. The aim is not simply to retell isolated Bible stories, but to help children see how the whole story points to the True King.
